Consultations

In the third sector we're often asked for our views and, most of the time, we'll want policy-makers to hear our views and act upon them. There are many ways to make our voices heard, one of the key, more formal methods is through responding to consultations.

This section lists the current consultations that we think are relevant for local organisations. Some will be local consultations, others national.

Responding to consultations
Sometimes, responses are sought from particular organisations or areas but often any organisation or person can respond to a consultation. Here in Falkirk, we'll look to co-ordinate a third sector response when appropriate, other times we'll put together a response based on our own experiences and thinking. We also work with statutory partners to submit Community Planning responses to consultations.

CURRENT CONSULTATIONS
Call for evidence - Effectiveness of transfer of undertakings (protection of employment - TUPE) regulations 2006 - UK Government
Closing date for responses: 31 January 2012.

Consultation on the review of the Unified Voluntary Sector Fund (UVSF) and Communtiy Learning and Development (CLD) HQ funds
Closing date for responses: 29 February 2012.

If you're aware of a consultation which you think we should be aware of, or you'd like support with responding to, or have a response that you'd like us to publish then please get in touch with us.
