Helping Hands

Neighbourhood Watch Scotland has created “Helping Hands”, a simple infograph detailing advice for those looking to help others in their communities.

The graphic includes tips  on staying safe, carrying verifiable ID, and the best ways to accept payment for items such as shopping.

You can view the graphic below, or view and download your own digital copy by clicking on the image below:

The guidance was created during COVID-19, but contains relevant and useful information for volunteers, helping them to keep themselves and the people they support safe.

Neighbourhood Watch Scotland’s Neighbourhood Alert initiative may also be useful; the system sends alerts to members via email or text on activity in their area, including cold callers, bogus callers and rogue traders.
