Get Involved: June 2021 Update

We’re delighted to see so many of our local third sector organisations resuming their fantastic services and activities safely, and community venues begin to open to the public again. Whilst it’s true that volunteers have played an integral part of the local community response to the impacts of COVID-19 and many volunteers are still involved in this response, we also know that many people are now looking forward to how they might get involved in their community now that restrictions are easing.

There are not as many voluntary opportunities as we might’ve had in “normal” times just yet, as you might expect, but there are certainly a number of varied roles that are just waiting for the right volunteer to come along right now!

If you are interested in volunteering, we think you’ll find the following steps useful:

  • have a go at using the search function on our Volunteer Scotland widget
  • email us at info@volunteerfalkirk.org.uk to let us know that you’d like to be added to our volunteer mailing list, so you’ll get regular information about new opportunities straight to your inbox
  • give our Volunteering Development Officer, Lynsey, a call on 07917006943 to discuss which volunteer role might be the best fit for you
  • check out our Volunteer Falkirk Instagram
