The Line of Trees with Jane

As part of our Volunteers’ Week 2022 celebrations, and keeping in line with the theme Year of Stories, we’re featuring a series of positive stories from our wonderful Falkirk volunteers.

Volunteering comes in all kinds of exciting shapes and sizes. We caught up with Jane, who has volunteered in lots of different ways to do with the history of the Falkirk district.

“I have been a Hidden Heritage Volunteer, and when the opportunity has arisen I have also volunteered for a couple of Great Places projects over the last three years. I am now a volunteer for the Friends of Kinneil.

I created a digital story as part of a Great Place project which included some training. It is about discovering Kinneil House and Estate, and is a short personal journey called “The Line of Trees”.”

You can check out Jane’s video on SmugMug.
